Low stock alerts before you lose a sale

A dead listing is a silent loss. Low stock alerts give you a day to restock or pause the channel that would sell air.

Low stock alerts exist for one reason: you lose a sale when the listing stays live and the unit is gone. Buyers see “unavailable”. Rank slips. The next person buys from a competitor who still has a box. You find out when you open the channel, not when you could still move stock from the warehouse.

Alert on the real pile, not on one channel

A warning that only watches Amazon misses the Shopify order that took the last two units. A warning that only watches the warehouse misses FBA already reserved. The useful alert is “this SKU has fewer days left than you think”, across channels you actually sell on.

  • A day-count from sales pace, not a magic minimum of 5
  • The same SKU on Amazon, eBay and Shopify in one row
  • Warehouse units that are not yet listed
  • A ping you will see: Telegram beats another email folder

What to do in the hour after the ping

First, stop the weakest channel if you cannot restock today. Keep the channel with the better margin or the better rank. Second, move warehouse units if they are already packed. Third, only then buy more. An alert that only says “buy” trains you to ignore it.

If the same SKU pings every week, the listing is faster than your reorder cycle. Raise the buffer or drop a channel. A timer that always screams is as useless as no timer.

How Sales times the run-out

Sales by Integrono shows a run-out timer from your daily rate or the last 30 days of sales. You add warehouses next to Amazon, eBay and Shopify. OAuth keeps the channel numbers fresh. Telegram can fire on each new order so you know the pile moved while you were away from the desk.

A rule that keeps alerts honest

If you would be angry to learn about a stockout tomorrow morning, that SKU needs a timer today. Put it on the board, set the days you can still ship, and treat the ping as a task: pause, move, or reorder. That is how low stock alerts save the sale instead of decorating a dashboard.
